I’m Nadia Jocylene, the creator of Marther Panther’s World. I grew up in a foster home in Essex, England – from the age of 6 to 18 and this experience changed my life forever.
Becoming an author has been a dream come true and my passion to support and work alongside the vulnerable youth in my community has always been my path in life.
As a mentor supporting youth offenders and children with behaviour difficulties, these experiences have encouraged me to do more to help support the wellbeing and emotional health of young people. With this book series, I want to support, inspire and create an inclusive platform for foster children and their community.
This fun story will show children that we are ALL worthy of love, we ALL belong, and we ALL are deserving of family, no matter whom our family is made up of. There are many positive messages about working together, sharing, and giving. I recommend this book as a fine example of diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

The story is well told, the characters are fun and the illustrations are full of energy The book gently introduces the concept of foster families and the support network they provide and also celebrates diversity and friendship. I can't wait for the rest of Marther and her family's adventures!

What a cute story with beautiful illustrations. I love that the characters live in a foster home and show kindness towards each other by helping Marther raise money to buy a pet hamster. Such a positive message. This book is a part of a series... can't wait to read more!

Marther and her foster siblings worked together in this sweet story to show how foster families are full of love and support. The Hamster Overload is a charming story with morals.

Marther Panther’s World is a children’s project founded on my passion for gardening and storytelling. One of the book titles yet to be published ‘Marther Panthers Not So Secret Garden’ is a story of Marther’s adventures as she tries growing her own fruit & veg. However, one of Carlos chameleons failed experiments turns Marthers mini garden patch into a giant monster patch, her tomatoes won’t stop growing!
Combining a series of books and the Gardening Club In my local area of Beckenham. In 2020 I started renting an allotment plot at Lennard Road allotment site and being welcomed by a lovely community of fellow growers I instantly knew this would be the perfect home to start Marther’s mini gardening club for children ages 6-17 they may have a passion for growing or just want to have fun with a new hobby. Children will have the opportunity to read Marther panthers book with some light refreshments then given the choice of which plants they would like to grow with their own patch on my plot to plant it.
